When you are involved in an accident involving injury or property damage, you need to report it to us or the insurance company within seven days, regardless of who is at fault.
What if it takes longer to report?
If you are unable to report it within seven days, report it as
soon as possible after that. If you don’t report your accident
within a reasonable amount of time, your insurance company
may not have to honour your claim

Information we will require
Were there injuries?
This is the most important thing! Auto and property can be fixed or repaired, you health is the most important thing. If you or other parties are injured, look after that first!
Where & When It Happened?
For a car accident, identify the road, area, direction traveled and time of day/night and your description of what happened.
Description of damage done?
If it involved a vehicle, what condition is it in now, where is it and is it driveable?
Names and insurance information of others involved?
The driver’s name and driver’s licence number and the number of passengers involved, if any. The make, model, year, registration, and licence plate number of the vehicle.
If Reported
The police report number the name and badge number of the investigating police officer.
