HISTORY

years of dedication and experience

Paul Preston started Paul D. Preston Insurance on Oct 1st, 1980, after 10 years of being regional manager with Federated Insurance. Paul’s vision was to serve the community in which he lived. His wife, Susan, received her broker’s license and together in their home they created a successful business.

Mark Preston, son of Paul and Susan, joined the business in August 1999 and became principal broker three years later. Due to the growth of the business and staff, we relocated to Plains Road in 2001, continuing to stay local.

Scott Morgan, husband to eldest daughter Leanne, joined the business in Sept 2002. Together Paul, Mark and Scott continued to serve our customers with their personal touch and quality service.

Now known as Preston Insurance Services, the business became incorporated in Jan 2004.

Alyson Johnson, the youngest of Paul and Susan’s three children, joined the business in Aug 2005. Although they may never fully retire from the business, Paul and Susan have been able to enjoy retirement in the recent years and are now serving as consultants to the brokerage. They continue to be honourary lifetime members of The Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario.
